Özet

Bu çalışma, Emin Taner ELMAS’ın ısı boruları üzerine geliştirdiği mühendislik yaklaşımlarını tıbbi termodinamik prensipleriyle birleştirerek tıp tekniği alanındaki potansiyel uygulamalarını değerlendirmektedir. Özellikle ELMAS’ın Termodinamik Teorisi ve Termodinamiğin 5. Yasası temel alınarak, yüksek performanslı çift fazlı ısı transfer mekanizmalarının biyomedikal sistemlerde kullanımına yönelik mühendislik altyapısı incelenmiştir. Çalışmada kriyocerrahi uygulamalarında kullanılan kriyoprobların termal verimliliğinin artırılması, giyilebilir tıbbi cihazlar ve implantlarda oluşan ısının kontrollü biçimde yönetilmesi, MRI ve BT gibi gelişmiş tıbbi görüntüleme sistemlerinde hassas soğutma teknolojilerinin geliştirilmesi ve organ ile biyolojik örnek taşıma sistemlerinde kararlı sıcaklık kontrolünün sağlanması gibi uygulama alanları ele alınmıştır. Mikro ölçekte tasarlanmış medikal ısı boruları sayesinde yüksek termal iletkenlik, enerji verimliliği ve kompakt sistem tasarımı hedeflenmektedir. Ayrıca bu mühendislik yaklaşımının invaziv olmayan ve minimal invaziv tıbbi teknolojilerin geliştirilmesine katkı sağlayabileceği vurgulanmıştır. Sonuç olarak çalışma, termodinamik, enerji transferi ve tıp mühendisliğinin bütünleşmesiyle geleceğin sürdürülebilir ve yüksek verimli biyomedikal sistemlerine yönelik teorik ve teknolojik bir model ortaya koymaktadır.
